Why pay 7$ for one chicken breast when you can get a whole chicken for the same amount, eh?
Roasting chicken is, as a matter of fact, probably one of the easiest things to do.
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F
Step 2: remove chicken from packaging
Step 3: set bird in a roasting pan and rub with olive oil
Step 4: generously add spices you prefer - I covered mine in approx 8 sprigs of fresh thyme, grated garlic, salt and pepper
Step 5: cover loosely with foil, shove in oven and forget about it for ~ half an hour.
Step 6: remove from oven and glug a semi-generous amount of white wine into pan. Baste chicken lavishly.
Step 7: repeat the above process at least 2 times more, until inner temp reaches 80° C
Step 8: remove from oven
Step 9: use an overlarge spatula to remove chicken from pan - transfer to plastic cutting board
Step 10: portion as desired and serve up with heaps of vegetables and roasted potatoes
Step 11: clean your fingers
