I am, and always have been, excessively interested in and addicted to making things.
In a time of immediacy, complete digital infiltration and general disregard for imagination, taking refuge in tangible things that have artistic and practical use is a favourite thing to do. As it is rather difficult to share tangible things over large distances, this space in the digi-verse is designed to catalogue those projects worth viewing. In the daytime I am a cartographer. |
This site, as it exists presently, is divided up into four major sections: the cunning dish - a blog that chronicles cooking exploits; cnyttan - a blog containing knitting projects and gushing stories about the latest things on Ravelry etc.; FABric - a blog dedicated to sewing projects and things related; and the home page - displays a featured project, usually the latest or most interesting thing I happen to be working on at the time.
So, if you're keen on colours, bright and radical things, making things with your hands, or re-purposing items of all sorts, I hope you find something here that is of interest. I welcome feedback, questions and ideas - if you happen to notice spelling mistakes or serious grammatical errors, please inform me of those too!
Peruse, look around, enjoy
